Help reduce your carbon footprint by recycling your organics.

We recycle green waste

Grass clippings, leaves, brush, prunings, branches and small stumps.  Size limitations are under 10 feet in length and under 2 feet in diameter.  Do not mix in any non-organics like plastic bags, flower pots, labels or weed barrier cloth.  Manufactured lumber is not accepted.

We also recycle food waste

Meat, Poultry, Fish, Shellfish & Bones, Egg & Dairy Products, Table Scraps & Plate Scrapings, Fruits and Vegetables, Bread, Dough, Pasta & Grains, Coffee Grounds, Filters & Tea Bags, Kitchen Paper Towels, Uncoated Paper Take-Out Containers, Pizza Delivery Boxes, Paper Napkins,  Waxed Cardboard & Paper, Uncoated Paper Cups & Plates.

We no longer accept compostable plastics. As in Bio-bags, compostable cups, plates or utensils. This material does not compost as advertised and ends up just being contamination in our compost.

Do not put in with Food Waste! – Plastic Bags, Plastic Tubs or Bottles, Glass Bottles and Jars, Metal, Produce Baskets and Netting, Burlap, Plastic Wrap, Cork, Coated or Plastic Take-Out Containers, Plastic Plates, Cups and Utensils, Latex and plastic gloves, Styrofoam, Foil, Wire, Twist Ties and Rubber Bands, Grease and Liquids, Painted and Treated Wood, Pet Waste, Garbage and Hazardous Waste.

Keeping contamination out of the organics will help keep dump fees from increasing.

We charge 3 and 1/2 cents per pound which is $70.00 per ton with a $5.00 minimum.

We also recycle – dirt, rock, sod, and small pieces of concrete and brick. This material must be kept separate from the regular green waste.

If you have a large project and could use a big dumpster delivered to your project call Lautenbach Industries for information on their drop box services.
